WEDDINGS -

Making the decision to get married is a special time, my job as a Celebrant is to help you create a unique ceremony so that on the day you can relax and enjoy the occasion and have many happy memories to take away with you.

I will provide you with:

  • My dedication to you in making your day a memorable one,

  • A Certificate Of Marriage,

  • A choice of verses, vows and readings,

  • My availability to you by telephone or email leading up to the day.

I need from you:

  • That you are over 18,

  • A birth certificate or overseas passport if you were born out of Australia,

  • One month and one day notification of your intended marriage,

  • A divorce certificate if you have been married previously, or a death certificate if your spouse is deceased.

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES -

A commitment ceremony is for couples who have made a commitment to each other to publicly declare their love for each other before family and friends without entering into legal marriage.  This ceremony also allows same sex couples to make a formal commitment to each other in a way that they choose.

I will provide you with:

  • My assistance in making this a memorable occasion,

  • A Certificate commemorating the ceremony,

  • A choice of verses, vows and readings,

  • My availability to you by telephone or email leading up to the day.

I need from you:

  • There are no legal requirements for a commitment ceremony, but what better way to show your love and devotion to your partner.

NAME GIVING CEREMONIES -

A name giving ceremony is an alternative to Baptism or Christening, it is a non-religious way to welcome your new baby or adopted child into your life.

It is a time to recognise your role as a parent, to publicly share with family and friends your hopes and dreams for your child or loved one.

I will provide you with:

  • My support to you in assisting you to arrange this special day,

  • A certificate commemorating the occasion,

  • A choice of verses, vows and readings,

  • My availability to you by telephone or email leading up to the day.

I need from you:

  • There are no legal requirements for a Name Giving Ceremony, but it is something you will hold dear forever.

FUNERALS -

A funeral should be personal and give meaning to the life of a loved one.  It is a difficult time, so with care and compassion I will assist you and/or the family to arrange a service befitting the personality and values of the deceased.

I will help you with:

  • A choice of readings, verses or music,

  • Writing and delivering the eulogy if required,

  • Designing of the service,

  • Assistance in the compilation of booklets,

  • I will meet with you in a place convenient for you.
